Veteran Benefits & Assistance
Originally founded in 1899 as the American Veterans of Foreign Service,
the Veterans of Foreign Wars continues to be a voice for returning and
currently deployed service members and their families. The Veterans of
Foreign Wars is dedicated to supporting those who sacrifice so much for
this country, veterans, service members in the US Armed Forces, and
their families.
Minnesota is one of 29 States that has County Veterans Service Officers, or CVSOs, specifically tasked to assist our Nations' Veterans. Minnesota residents should consider utilizing their CVSO for most Veteran-type assistance. CVSOs can be found here

Our VFW Service Officer is Sean Gustafson, a 26 year Army Vet, and volunteer who still works for the DoD. He can be reached at 612-752-9918 or sean.gustafson@gmail.com
For Disability Claims assistance, many members of our Post have had strong assistance from our DAV representative, Ms. Tammy Anderson, out of Washington County, who can be reached at 651-592-0968, 612-970-5668, or tamia@pva.org
